ContestOnlineScore.com, the real-time scoreboard for amateur radio contesting, is establishing a special incentive prize program to encourage the use of ContestOnlineScore.com and cross-board Score Distribution server during international contests. We are currently announcing six 1-year electronic subscriptions to CQ Amateur Radio Magazine: three for the WAEDC CW Contest August 11-12, 2018 and three for the WAEDC SSB Contest September 8-9, 2018.
The winners will be drawn within one week after each contest. Unclaimed or refused prizes will be redrawn until all the three subscriptions have been accepted.
There is one requirement for all contenders: they are required to actively contribute their scores to Contest Online Scoreboard (https://contestonlinescore.com) during 24 or more hours in the contest.
We look forward to seeing your scores on ContestOnlineScore.com during WAEDC CW/SSB! Information on how to post your scores during the contest is available at https://contestonlinescore.com/blog/documents/.
We encourage everyone to use the cross-board Score Distribution server which distributes your scores to both currently active scoreboards (https://contestonlinescore.com and http://cqcontest.net). Read https://contestonlinescore.com/blog/real-score-cluster-update-cqcontest-net-left-the-cluster/ for details.
We have implemented some basic integration with the famous Contest Calendar web site (http://www.contestcalendar.com/) created by our partner Bruce, WA7BNM.
We put a link on the main scoreboard page header pointing to a currently active contest details page:
We are very pleased to announce that this is the one year anniversary of our project! It was on June 24th, 2017 that we first announced ourselves and started the real time scoring service for Ham Radio contesters community! Today, just 12 months later, COSB is completely up and running. We are supporting almost all the known contests and we are doing our very best to change the world by pushing all the contesters around the universe to be online on a scoreboard!
To briefly overview what has been achieved in the last year:
The COSB team
We are testing how the new COSB trophy program now. See details at https://contestonlinescore.com/blog/cq-wpx-cw-highest-online-scoreboard-plaques/ . That would be great to get a feedback from Ham Radio contesters community.
